What this site collects
Browsing the charts doesn't require an account, and the site doesn't use cookies, ads or tracking scripts. Like any website, the hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard request data such as IP addresses to serve pages.
The monthly email
- If you subscribe, your email address is stored by our email provider, Kit, which sends the emails on our behalf.
- It's used only to send the monthly Tech Hiring Trends update. It's never sold or shared for marketing.
- You'll get a confirmation email first; nothing else is sent unless you confirm.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops all emails right away.
- Kit may record whether emails are opened or links are clicked, which helps measure what's useful.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data held about you at any time by replying to any of our emails. If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Data sources
The charts are built from public Hacker News threads and Indeed Hiring Lab data. The site publishes only totals, never details about individual job seekers.
